Moriah's Side: I ( Moriah ) moved in with my parents from Kankakee, IL in April 2014 to Lawrenceburg TN for my dad's job. We lived in a very small, one bedroom apartment while searching for a permanent home. The couple that lived below us, always had company over, one of them being the Watson family, who just lived down the road. I had met Kyle's parents and siblings long before I met Kyle, but I had heard them talk so much about him that I felt I knew him too. One day, a friend of the couple downstairs and the Watson's, invited my parents and myself to their house for lunch where everyone would be. While there we sat outside, everyone just talking and here pulls up Kyle Watson. (For me, it was love at first sight! 😉) His dad introduced us, we said 'hi and bye'.. the only words exchanged between us! Yet, he sat right next to me and talked to my mom the whole time! ( they really hit it off! ) I think after a few days I sent him a friend request on Facebook and that was that. He messaged me a couple of weeks later, casually saying ' I'm sorry, I just now figured out who this was' ( Ha! Yeah right! ) well, my daily and nightly routine, being that I wasn't working at the time and didn't know anyone down here, I sat and read on my porch day and night. Knowing Kyle would drive by to and from work was also an added bonus. After we got to talking he would stop by every night after work and talk to me, we would sit and talk for hours on end and never get tired. That's when he became my best friend and the rest is history, we haven't stopped talking since ❤️ Kyle's Side: Well, first of all, we didn't meet right away. My (Kyle's) dad told me about a pretty girl right around my age that moved in down the street. I would continuously drive by daily looking to see if she was outside reading on her step like she normally did. I couldn't work up the courage to talk to her. She was so naturally beautifu, I was nervous (and that red hair made it very intimidating). So, after sometime we finally got to meet. My dads friend John was having a cookout one day, and to my surprise he invited Moriah and her parents. I was still to nervous to talk to her, so like any young man would do I naturally started having a full on conversation with her mom and didn't say a word to her...after that I did the second thing a young man would naturally do and I played it cool (not) and messaged her on Facebook. I finally started a conversation with her there. I eventually came and started sitting with her on the steps outside of where she lived every now and again. And then it became a nightly thing when I got off work. Before we new it we were sitting and talking to each other till one or two in the morning each night. I would bring a blanket every now and again and we would just sit and talk and watch the stars and the moon it was perfect. I finally realized that I wanted to be with this beautiful, perfect girl so I worked up the courage to ask her out after what most people would say to be an eternity of coming to talk to her. Shortly after that I started seeing myself being with her for the rest of our lives, and I finally worked up the courage to ask her to marry me. And here we are now!
