Wedding Date on Nov 10, 2018

Joey and Kortney officially met at Martin High School through a mutual friend. I say officially because shortly after they started dating they found out they went to elementary school together but didn’t share the same teacher. With them being in the same grade it is probable that their love story started way before even they realize. After high school, life took them on different paths and they didn’t reconnect until shortly before Kortney moved home from college, years later. After spending weeks texting and getting to know each other again Joey suggested grabbing a late bite to eat. They got to Taco Cabana around 10:00 pm and talked for hours before reluctantly heading their separate ways around 1:00 am. The next day Joey officially asked Kortney on their first date where they went to Chuy’s and the movies. They had such a good time that Kortney invited him out with her friends the next night to celebrate her birthday. Joey was a complete gentleman and impressed Kortney so much by his genuine kindness, witty personality, and the friendship they were quickly building that it didn’t take long after to make it official. Joey moved in with Kortney 3 months after their initial date and the rest is history as they say! Five years later Joey took Kortney to the very same place they had their first date and asked her to be his wife. November 10, 2018 two became one in front of a host of friends and family and they lived happily ever after.
