Wedding Date on May 26, 2019

"While the story of how we meet is somewhat anti-climatic (online dating), my husband absolutely blew the proposal out of the water. He created "The Shreya" (referencing HIMYM) a few months before he knew he was going to propose to me. Slowly, he built in activities that he and I would do on our days off so that when the time came, I wouldn't have a clue! When the day finally came, we set up our hammock as we normally do in our beloved park. And this time around, the book that my husband gave me was one he wrote and published himself!! I tear open the wrapping and start flipping through the pages, reading our love letters that he copied into the book and his ultimate love letter to me asking me to continue on this journey with him. Meanwhile, he's run off into the woods and waits for me with a string of lights behind him, rose petals leading up to him, and a heart of roses made around where he stands. I use the arrows on the trees behind the park to find him and he gets down on one knee. The rest is history--I said yes!" -Shreya
