These two amazing spirits and their gorgeous dogs were wed in November of 2018 on one of the craziest weather days of all time! It poured, the wind blew HARD, and they had to move their outdoor ceremony in the Greywacke Meadows barn to avoid the monsoon-like conditions!! They got ready in the cutest little farmhouse and the light and decor was beautiful in its bright whites and blues. The bridal party had fun listening to Broadway tunes as they got their hair and makeup done and got into their dresses. It was cozy and warm inside the barn and everyone seemed to settle in comfortably. The bride processed to the incredible singing of a young relative whose beautiful voice gave us chills! The officiant made made some apt comparisons between caring for dogs and caring for a spouse that were both funny and true! Her words brought a special personal touch to the ceremony of these dog lovers! After the ceremony, the pouring rain stopped and made way for one of the prettiest, most golden orange sunsets I have ever seen!! We got some dark blue to black clouds in the background and it was dramatic and gorgeous! The newlyweds and dogs went for a brisk little walk and we got some amazing portraits! Katie & Lucas are so truly, authentically in love and right for each other --they are an inspiration to be around. Their family and friends surrounded this beautiful couple with so much love, affection, and tenderness on their wedding day. May they live happily ever after!
