Wedding Date on Dec 16, 2017

Shooting a wedding day means you're invited deep into someone's story - and one of the things I love most is hearing the back story, of how two people met, fell in love and the challenges they may have had to overcome to get to this point. Kate met James in the UK with only 4 weeks left on her visa. But when you know you've got something special - you hold onto it. So James followed her back to Australia three weeks after she left - uprooting his life to follow the girl he'd fallen in love with. And now with the two of them living back in the UK - I knew what a special day this was to capture for them. To be able to capture the celebrations of course - but also to be able to share with their friends and family who weren't able to make it, and to watch over and over again when Australia and loved ones feel so far away.
