Wedding Date on Sep 26, 2019

There’s one thing you can’t plan for on a wedding day. The weather. (Especially in Melbourne). And you definitely can’t book in a sunset. But you can plan your wedding ceremony on a rooftop, around sunset and just hope for the best. Even when the sky is blanketed with thick clouds. Because, sometimes, things just work out. And sometimes, when the vows exchanged are as heartfelt and sweet as these ones, the sun might decide to come out and put on a real show, illuminating everything in the most beautiful golden light. Emily told me she had a surprise for Theo on their wedding day…and to keep it secret. I love a good wedding surprise, being in on the little secret you know is being planned, and being able to capture the reactions. Even when there was a little tech hiccup, she went on to blow everyone away and the moment was even more perfect for it. Sometimes things just work out. And sometimes, when two people meet, but the timing isn’t right, they later find they’ve swung back into each other’s orbits… because it was always going to work out with these two, the perfect pair.
