Wedding Date on Sep 30, 2021

From the couple: We met in New York in March of 2018. For our first date, we went out for pizza at Saluggi’s in downtown Tribeca. We both still remember spending our entire subway rides home smiling and thinking about how excited we were to have met. We definitely fell in love quickly and after many more dates, awesome vacations, and time for Christina to learn how to navigate the subway from Manhattan to Queens, we moved in together. After some months of living together, we began to realize that we loved coming home to each other. It became the part of our days that we looked forward to the most. We started talking about our future and where we saw it going; that’s when we decided we wanted to take the next step and Kalyssa proposed later that year. We are both Virgos but have different moon placements and I think those shine through in our personalities as individuals and as a couple. We have so much in common, but our differences compliment the other and help bring out the best in each other. Kalyssa is kind, personable, and very outgoing. I am an introvert who feels most comfortable on my own, but Kalyssa has helped break me out of my shell– it is easy to feel relaxed around her. I knew from early on that she was the person I wanted to start a family with, and saw this even more clearly when she first met my family. She fit right in, and I think my family grew to love with her almost as quickly as I did. She is caring, thoughtful, and would do anything for those she loves. She looks out for me, takes care of me, and supports me in ways that feel superhuman. I am grateful to have found a loving person like her to be my partner through life. Christina is a beautiful, loving, smart, humble, witty, and graceful woman. She is an old soul and the biggest breath of fresh air. I know that on any given day, I have her love, trust, strength, and support to do whatever I want in life. I continue to grow more everyday because she constantly pushes me to be better, to learn, to understand, to empathize, to love. I couldn’t picture going through the rest of my life with anyone else by my side.
