We are Jason & Mary from At Last Wedding Films, a husband and wife wedding cinema team in San Diego, CA. This past winter, we had the double privilege of producing a Same Day Premiere wedding film AND Jason being a part of the bridal party for one of his close friends and former roommate, Joe. . We feel like everyone needs a friend like Joe. He is the life of every party, has untouchable charisma, and charges the room with an uplifting and positive energy. We always joke that Joe is at 300%. When he is present, he is there for you 300%. When he dislikes something, he dislikes it 300%. When he loves something, he loves it 300%. It is no surprise to us that when he found his bride, he would have all the love in the world and more to offer her. . Michelle was a mutual acquaintance of ours before her and Joe were a couple. Jason was even living with Joe when they had their first date! The chemistry that was set in motion that day, resulted in a long distance romance that stood the test of time, Michelle graduating from nursing school, long plane flights, and many sad goodbyes. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect counterpart for Joe than Michelle's gentle and sweet personality. Joe calls her "Belle," and it isn't hard to see why. She was one of the most naturally gorgeous brides we have ever seen! We were both touched to be so included on their big day. . Seeing Joe so emotional throughout the day really showed us how much he loves Michelle, truly treasures her, and what it means to him that he finally found his one and only. He was lucky enough to marry his first serious girlfriend, and more importantly- his last. We are both so happy for them, and so excited to have played a part in their wedding day happiness! . As we set up our projector at the end of the night, Joe and Michelle had NO idea it was for debuting their wedding film! We always love when we have the element of surprise, but what made it even better was watching them overcome with emotion as moments from the day unfolded, even moments that just happened. .
