From The Bride: How we met: My best friend growing up went to college with Adam. One night my best friend, Jamie, and I were visiting New York (where Adam lived) and we had plans to go out for my other friends birthday. Jamie suggested some of her single guys friends come along and described them as cute. Adam and I met that night and from then on could not stop talking to each other. The rest is history . Proposal: Adam woke me up at 730am and I was obviously fast asleep. He said he needed me to look at something and that he made a mistake outside in the living room. At first I said no way, I'm not getting out of bed and then he kept saying please- I need you to help me. I then thought he spilled something on our white upholstered white bench. I got up and my hands were over my face cause I was so tired but then I saw the dining room table was covered in roses and there was champagne (with some poured into champagne flutes I did not know he knew we had) and a ring box in the center and then I saw the IPad was on record and I wasn't wearing pants so I quickly ran to get pants. And then he proposed, we cheersed, drank champagne at 8am, went to an amazing brunch, and then were surprised by our closest friends and family afterwards. It was the best day! About the Ring: With the help of his jeweler and mom, Adam picked out the perfect ring. He selected an elongated cushion cut stone for a custom Italian setting featuring a diamond halo and two tapered side baguettes, completed with a diamond gallery (something I knew nothing about). Whenever we talked about it he always told me you'll love what I give you and he surpassed all my expectations - considering he doesn't even put away his own laundry.
