Jen and Shahe’s wedding took place at the incredible Villa Susanna. With only 20 much-loved guests in attendance, everyone had time and space to enjoy themselves. The villa sits right on the edge of Caribbean Sea with views of the most romantic and picturesque bay on the island. There are stunning gardens that lead right to the seashore, luxurious rooms, fabulous facilities and blissful peace and privacy. In such a delightful setting, it’s no wonder that this was an incredibly relaxed, joyful occasion. I loved absolutely every moment of the wedding day. Jen’s bridal preparations took place in one of the amazing suites and the super sweet robes that she and her bridesmaids wore looked fabulous. There were so many smiles throughout the morning and quite a few celebratory bubbles too! Jen looked fantastic in her Pronovias gown and Manolo Blahnik heels in a delicate, powder blue. The subtly coloured bridesmaids’ dresses were so pretty and the light style of the dresses really suited the location. I also adored Jen’s choice of hairstyle – her tumbling locks perfectly complemented the relaxed style of the day. The ceremony itself took place over the Villa’s pool with the ocean in the background and the guests seated all around. The couple had opted for a beautifully classic white colour scheme and this carried right through the day from the bouquets and aisle runner to all the decorations and details, including the doves that were released after the ceremony. We escaped to the waterside for the couple’s portraits and the backdrop was just stunning. Jen and Shahe were clearly having the day that they’d dreamed of and it was such a privilege to be with them. As darkness fell, guests enjoyed a wedding breakfast together before the speeches and lots of dancing under the stars. The evening ended with the newlyweds releasing Chinese lanterns into the night sky – a magical end to a magical day.
