Steve and Jenna first met, staring at their phones and swiping on Bumble. Right when Jenna was about to lose hope in the online dating world and retire due to carpel tunnel of the thumb Steve appeared. They both took a chance and swiped right. After chatting for a few days, they met at Jenna’s favorite bar. They shared appetizers and Steve tricked Jenna by ordering mozzarella sticks and not disclosing his strong dislike for cheese which just so happens to be one of Jenna’s favorite food groups. He did not want to risk losing her on their first date! Little did they know how much they had in common. Besides being teachers, they grew up visiting their family homes in the small town of Ellison Bay in Door County. Their family homes were just under a half mile apart from each other! Steve soon learned that Jenna came as a package deal with her English Bulldog, Betty whom Steve quickly fell in love with too. Betty even helped Steve propose to Jenna, who said, “Yes!” without hesitation. That may be the last new trick that Betty will ever learn. Of course, Betty made a guest appearance during their wedding day! Jenna and Steve's wedding day at Providence Vineyard was nothing short of absolutely perfect. From the moment the celebration began, every detail was beautifully planned and filled with love. It was a day full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories, surrounded by close friends and family. The stunning vineyard setting provided the perfect backdrop for their special day, making it a truly enchanting occasion!
