Wedding Date on Aug 20, 2021

Fresh on the market Matt found himself downloading a series of "matchmaking" apps in May of 2015. He landed a few dates with a lady named Caitlin, and one night Matt and Caitlin found themselves watching Game of Thrones together at her apartment. Just as things were starting to heat up (in the show), Caitlin's roommate walks in and introduces herself to Matt by saying, "You must be Jeff! Caitlin has been talking so much about you!" As Matt knew his name was not Jeff, Matt quickly learned what the friend zone was. The roommate went on her way to her bedroom, and with Caitlin being quite embarrassed (and also trying to stifle her laughter), Matt bowed out and moved on in the dating scene. In February of 2016, the matchmaking apps were re-downloaded and Matt and Jenna connected on Tinder. Jenna swiped right because Matt's last picture was a photo of his volleyball team wearing those lame cat laser tank tops...a team she had played against at Horny Goat Brewery...RIP. As the two began messaging, Matt recognized Jenna from somewhere, but couldn't quite remember where he had seen her. A few days passed and then in the midst of messaging each other, it all clicked; Jenna was the roommate who unintentionally called Matt by the wrong name. Matt to this day still believes it was an intentional self-fulfilling ploy by Jenna to ruin Matt's date, while Jenna believes that this was the work of the universe...reminiscent of 'How I Met Your Mother'. Either way, this was the comical beginning of Matt and Jenna, and they've been laughing together ever since. Their wedding day and film are a tribute (pun intended) to what makes them whole. Their amazing friends, families, interests, and of course their beloved pup, Millie. Enjoy!
