Wedding Date on Sep 30, 2017

Jeff and Morgan met at work in April of 2014. Morgan was working nightshift, and Jeff was on a rotation where he found himself frequently up on the eighth floor of the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. That night, Jeff introduced himself to Morgan, and he started what has now become his well-known habit of sneaking the chocolate ice cream from the freezer on her unit. Their friendship began during those couple of weeks where they found themselves on the same work schedule. They ran into each other outside of work for the first time with some mutual friends at Paradise Park, a Downtown Nashville bar. But that night, Morgan regretfully turned down Jeff's offer to buy her a drink. A decision Jeff likes to remind her of today… Luckily, Morgan had another chance. Jeff persisted to ask her out on a date for some real ice cream (that wasn't in a Styrofoam container from the hospital freezer), and she of course said yes. They had many more ice cream dates over the next two and a half years. Morgan planned a weekend away in Asheville, NC for Jeff's thirtieth Birthday this past October. She thought they would tour The Biltmore, go on a hike and explore downtown to celebrate. Jeff had even bigger plans. They chose a trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and on that hike Jeff got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. For his Birthday, he gave them the rest of their lives together and they couldn't be happier.
