Wedding Date on Dec 9, 2017

In modern-day fashion, Jake and I met on Tinder, here in NYC. We "matched" in early November and didn't actually meet in-person until December 27. Our first date was meeting for drinks at Tiny's on a cold December night, just a couple of days after Christmas. Tiny's is a cozy little spot in the neighborhood that Jake lived in at the time. Jake arrived at the bar before me and was standing at the bar when I arrived. I tapped his shoulder from behind; I'll never forget the moment our eyes first met - I swear his eye twinkled as he flashed that sweet smile of his! I remember the whole night thinking how much I liked him. He was engaging, thoughtful, friendly, NOT annoying (which is hard to find - especially for a Southern girl living in the NE!) and he was genuine - AND handsome, of course! When we parted ways that night, he kissed my cheek before I got in the cab. He contacted me the very next morning to see if I had plans for dinner, wondering if I would join him for another date! Needless to say, I agreed to join him - since then, we haven't thought twice, haven't looked back. There was a spark from the very beginning, but it has been life's greatest joy to experience falling in love together. Almost four years later, we're so excited to see what our future holds!!
