Hilari knew Shane's mom and sister for years before she ever met Shane. She went to the same dance studio as Shane's sister. Shane and Hilari met in 2012 while working at the same sushi restaurant. Shane was a bartender and Hilari was a hostess. They started hanging out and realized they were a seamless fit. As a wedding gift Shane had the Philly street artist, Nero, create a custom piece that said "All Was Well." Hilari loves harry potter and this is the last line of the series. Hilari was excited to finally show Shane her dress at their first look, as well has having a breakfast buffet for their evening reception. Their wedding also featured many harry potter inspired details sprinkled throughout.
