Wedding Date on Aug 11, 2018

Chris & Heather's love story began in November 2013, when Chris pulled Heather's name out of a Pilsner pinata, which won her a pair of tickets to Winston's birthday party (Winston was Chris' mullet, yes the hairstyle). Heather picked up the tickets, went to the party and had a great time. That was that. December 12, 2013 was their first "date," and in September 2014, they went on their first trip together, to Iceland. Heather and Chris spent three weeks in a camper van together, talking to not a single other human. Traveling as a couple can be a real test, and they came out on the other side liking each other even more. In December 2016, they went to South Africa. Heather and Chris are both runners, and they had just accomplished their hardest, longest trail race they had done to date. Two days later Chris got down on one knee (slowly.. still recovering from the race) at Cape Point, and asked Heather to be his wife. For an August wedding, the odds of having beautiful weather are usually pretty good, but after 2 months of not a drop of rain, it all came pouring down on Chris & Heather's wedding day. These two embraced the rain and had the time of their lives together, and that's exactly what your wedding day should be! Chris & Heather’s wedding day was full of hilarious moments (seriously, Chris' mom delivered the best one liner we've ever heard in a speech 😂) But it was also full of sweet, emotional moments as well! We wanted their wedding film to reflect their adventurous and light-hearted side, and the unique love that they share. As Heather’s mom mentions in her speech, these two are soulmates who truly are the perfect fit for each other.
