Wedding Date on Jan 22, 2022

If you were to google "marry your best friend" the very first result should be a picture of Heather and Ben. I don't even know where to begin with these two. Have you ever met a couple that has been dating since high school and is both still so obsessed with each other? After watching this one, you'll know exactly what I mean. They truly are still best friends through and through and never seem to grow tired of each other. And you can see that their families agree. It was one of those high school relationships that just kind of happened. There was never necessarily a beginning. It started as just friends talking and texting on a regular basis and never stopped. Eventually, they both realized there was something there and finally made it official. They have been non-stop ever since, and eventually, Ben woke up one morning and decided "I can get a ring." That set in motion a full plan to surprise Heather in his parent's backyard with both of their families for what she thought was a simple photo shoot. And with most weddings over the past two years, they did have to deal with delays and postponements due to covid, but in January of 2022, it finally happened. It was an absolutely perfect winter day at Bridlewood in Madison where they finally said their vows aloud to each other surrounded by their family and friends. They made official what they had known since all the way back in high school: that they would eventually be husband and wife. They followed the ceremony with a huge party where they spent most of the time on the dance floor celebrating with everyone. It could not have been a more perfect day and I could not stop smiling while putting this film together because of how perfect Heather and Ben are for each other. All around it was an incredible day, and I was honored to have the chance to capture their story!
