Wedding Date on Oct 10, 2020

How they met from the bride: Okay, so Brandon will say otherwise, but the first time I remember meeting him was Summer of 2013. My church friends and I had just finished attending a church event, and like always-- we went somewhere afterwards to eat. That night we decided to go to iHop because it was the only place that could accommodate a large group that late in the evening. At that time, Brandon's best friend, Jacob, had a crush on me after meeting at church camp. (Beca, Brandon, and Jacob all went to the same church. I know, small world lol). So Brandon and Jacob were at their own church and had just finished worship-band practice (Brandon was the lead singer and guitarist, hehe). And Beca was with me. So Jacob had hit us up after practice. Brandon had rode with Jacob to practice, so Jacob asked if they could stop by iHop. My church friends and I were already seated and I was facing the entrance. When Jacob arrived, I noticed another guy was there with him and let me tell you-- when I saw Brandon walking towards me, my heart JUMPED. I said "Who. Is. That." lol! That summer we ended up leading worship together for a bible study that was a product of the church camp that many of us met in 2013. And the rest is history! Don't worry, I didn't forget about Jacob! Of course, I told Jacob when I found out that he had liked me, that the feelings weren't mutual (Sorry Jacob!!). And obviously, I ended up with Brandon. But get this, Jacob ended up falling for my now best friend of 5 years, the amazing girl officiating us, and THEY got married back in 2017! So crazy how things happened, but they for sure happened for a reason. And now THEY'RE our Matron of Honor and Best Man!
