Wedding Date on Aug 15, 2021

Mason is colorblind and has not experienced the beauty of color since he was young. For their wedding day, Gina knew she wanted to gift Mason with the Enchroma glasses. To make it even more special, she dyed her hair his favorite color and chose the most perfect first look location to make the first moment between them that much more impactful for him. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a groom more speechless. Everything from his quivering hands holding the glasses for the first time, to the way he reacts to seeing Gina, to admiring her tattoos in a way he’s never been able to before, and even the weight of emotion in the stillness between the two of them. I knew I wanted to bring big attention to this part of their story, because it was one of the first things Gina shared with me when she inquired back in Dec’ 2018. Like many, their wedding was postponed due to COVID, and she waited an entire year longer to be able to give him this incredible gift. There is so much raw emotion packed into Gina and Mason's story, it's a really special one for me to be able to share.
