Wedding Date on Apr 29, 2022

Gaby & Henry met on a dating app in 2016. After a bit of chat over the app, they agreed to meet up on the Thames in Fulham at a restaurant called the Crabtree on a sunday afternoon. The two started talking and talking and after the meal continued wandering along the river until well past both of their bedtimes. What was expected to be a quick "get to know you" date turned out to be the last first date & last first kiss either of them had again. During the lockdown in Feb 2021, Henry had arranged a special valentines day celebration for Gaby. Henry kept it all a secret and just told her to dress up for the evening. Given that every restaurant was closed, Henry decided to arrange a "semi-assembled" italian meal from "Pasta Evangelists". He transformed his office area into a white tablecloth dining experience, with a full picture slideshow & accompanying music of the past 5 years dating Gaby. When Gaby walked into the room she was completely surprised and the meal was fantastic. As the dessert came, the soundtrack reached a special song for the two of them, and Henry got down on one knee and proposed. Gaby said yes, and the celebration began, calling friends & family and having video calls to share the good news. Their wedding was a celebration of their time in England through the eyes of two people that have grown to call England their home. The locations are uniquely historical places, while they incorporated elements of both our native countries (Mexico and the USA) in the music, speeches, & dances. The ambience was formal, but relaxed at the same time. They didn't want it to feel "stuffy, scripted, or hectic". It was an afternoon in the sun eating & drinking and evolving into a night of singing & dancing.
