Hannah & Nick met in Sydney, Australia through mutual friends. They were only acquaintances for a few years until they met again at a mutual friends birthday party in Manly. Nick asked for Hannah's contact details and they began talking. Hannah was living/working in Canberra while Nick was in Sydney, but they would meet up each time she visited Sydney. They eventually started dating and did long distance for a while, and eventually Nick decided to move to Canberra. The moving didn't stop there... Hannah moved to the UK and Nick followed 1.5 years later.
After being separated by the pandemic, Nick managed to secure a job in the UK during the pandemic. It was after the first lockdown, and it was Hannah's birthday so they decided to go somewhere near for a day trip. Towards the end of the day, when the sun was setting and against a nice backdrop of deer, Nick decided to surprise Hannah with a ring! It was a special and intimate proposal with nobody but the couple (and some deer). Luckily, Nick took a camera with him to capture the moment.
The couple were sure their wedding day would be relaxed and comfortable, putting their guests' needs first. In reality, there was so much more happening though. The day began with 2 tea serving ceremonies (one at the couple's home, the other in the hotel's penthouse suite) - both were equally intimate and heartfelt. From there we moved to the church and enjoyed a wonderfully personal ceremony before heading back to the hotel through the city centre, enjoying well-wishes from passers-by, before enjoying drinks, cake, food and fun at the reception venue- not to mention a wonderfully relaxed punt on the river!
