Wedding Date on Aug 22, 2020

Emily and Dakota had to switch their original wedding plan in to an all day fun event with their closest family and friends. Their story on how they met is super cute, they were both invited to a mutual friends Halloween Party. They were both were seeing other people at the time but this is when they first laid eyes on each other. Emily was dressed as Batman and Dakota as Hugh Hefner. A few years they both met at NYE party. Dakota’s family had gotten together to spend the holidays with one another after his father had passed away a few months earlier. Over the next year they kept in touch hanging out with the same group of friends. Another year later, Dakota finally decided to ask Emily out on a date after he realized she was into him when she went to his 28th birthday dinner. It was about a week later when they had the best (last) first date! They went to a seafood restaurant first, then martini’s at an ocean front bar, followed by a dive bar cocktail and ended the night at a cigar bar. A few weeks later was St. Patrick's day was when he used his sense of humor to ask Emily to be his girlfriend. He gave Emily a multiple choice question asking “How do you want me to introduce you?” A. Friend B. Ex-wife C. Side piece D. Girlfriend You guessed right, she chose D. Couple weeks after that, the same group of friends went to Cuba on a long weekend trip. Maybe it was a combination of the rum and the Havana heat but while on a rooftop bar in downtown Havana they told each other we were falling in love. A whirlwind of a couple months but they both fell hard and knew it was meant to be! Now listened to Dakotas Vows!!!
