Wedding Date on May 4, 2019

Jami and Joey were such a unique couple, we had the opportunity to spend the night before their wedding with them at their rehearsal dinner. It was such a joy to meet them and get to know them. They were originally introduced through mutual friends, but it wasn't necessarily love at first sight... Joey had to chase here a bit haha (her words) ;) Joey would strategically make plans so that our friends would have to hang out and cross paths. Jami always thought he was cute and funny, but she kept him in the friend zone until one day she saw him running on the treadmill at the gym. For whatever reason that day it clicked and she thought to herself, "I bet I marry that Joey." A few weeks later Joey asked her on their first date, and for the next seven years, they were inseparable. Jami's birthday is Dec 23rd and she is obsessed with Christmas (her favorite time of year) and Joey LOVES the Carolina Panthers. On Dec. 9, 2017, Joey surprised her with tickets to the Nutcracker. They went to the show, and on the way home, Joey stopped by the Panthers stadium where the biggest Christmas tree in Charlotte is located. Jami thought maybe they were snagging tickets for the football game the following day, but to her surprise, Joey led her right under the big tree, and got down on one knee. Joey popped the question, and of course she immediately said yes!!! Joey later told her that he thought that location was perfect because it encompassed both of our favorite things: Christmas and the Carolina Panthers. Very cute :)
