Wedding Date on May 22, 2021

Emily and Brandon met through their parents in 7th grade, where they quickly became the best of friends. They remained extremely throughout their school years before realizing their love for one another their senior year of high school. Their freshman year of college began with them at two different schools, though their love remained strong through frequent traveling to see one another. Brandon was awarded a transfer scholarship that allowed him and Emily to attend the same college for the remainder of their undergraduate years. The summer before their senior year Brandon surprised Emily with beachside proposal, orchestrated by their friends and family; the latter who were secretly in attendance and surprised Emily! Emily and Brandon knew Mt. Magazine was the place for them to be married. It was their hometown and held such a special place in their hearts. After a rainy and foggy rehearsal evening, their wedding day couldn't have been more beautiful for these two! They prepared separately between Mt. Magazine Lodge and its neighboring cabins, each surrounded by an amazing family and circle of close friends. Emily and Brandon shared a beautiful and heartfelt "first touch" where the two prayed over one another before starting this amazing next chapter in their lives. The ceremony was held in the Cameron Bluff Amphitheater, overlooking the vastness of Mt. Magazine as a backdrop. Emily and Brandon shared their written vows to one another in front of 300 of their family and friends. Soft cello music filled the air as Emily and Brandon promised forever to each other. Their reception was nothing short of a celebration of faith, love and admiration from their family and friends. Emily's sisters and Brandon's best man gave heartfelt speeches before kicking off the party of a lifetime. Everyone danced the night away with passion in honor of Emily and Brandon. Smiles, laughter and an abundance of joyous energy carried on through the night before Emily and Brandon boarded their horse drawn carriage to take them away to start a wonderful life together.
