Emilie + Tristan | Our Montreal Wedding - A Kiss Across the Multiverse On August 27th, 2022, Emilie and Tristan had an intimate wedding of 25 guests at the Omni Hotel Mont-Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This was my first wedding film, and like a madman, I shot it solo. Luckily for me, I had the greatest two subjects in Emilie and Tristan, and in the end, it was pure magic. I had an absolute blast capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments with them! When asked to describe their ideal wedding, Emilie and Tristan wanted an elegant, energetic and emotional celebration with their closest family and friends. It was important that their wedding was authentic and truly represented them: sometimes silly, sometimes geeky, but always about love. They planned and organized all of the wedding’s details, from the invitations to the decorations, including but not limited to, the ceremony’s welcome sign and its interactive entertainment. The bilingual ceremony was officiated by Tristan's mother in English and French. Emilie and Tristan also taught themselves the choreography of their first wedding dance. And on top of all that, Emilie wore not 1, not 2, but 3 dresses throughout. She even designed one of the dresses herself! When asked if they would change anything about that special day, their reply was, “Nothing. Except maybe have the late night doughnuts served even later to give a much deserved sugar boost to the crowd that didn't stop dancing until 4:30am!"
