Where to begin!! On the morning of D and Grayson's wedding, the groom looped us in on a surprise he'd been plotting & would be pulling off that very morning: he would be professionally recording the song to their first dance. D had no idea! The day began in excitement as the groom whisked the video team down the road to Gold City House of Music where he recorded a perfect cover of "First Dance" by Corey Smith. (Catch D's adorable reaction at the 5:00 minute marker when she realizes it's his voice coming out of the speakers!)
Then, this couple had more surprises up their sleeves! Among the guests at their wedding included a couple who had gotten married early on in the pandemic. D and Grayson decided it was fitting at their reception to give this couple the first dance they never had. *cue the tears*
THEN (still more!) to their friend's complete amazement, D and Grayson announced that they had also flown out the Bride's Dad and the Groom's Mom so they could also share in a first dance with their parents *cue balling*
It was a special moment to witness, indeed.
That's D and Grayson for you. Using their own wedding as an occasion to bless friends. These two really care about their people, their community and making others feel valued. What a dream team they are together and what an honor to bare witness to their marraige. Thanks D and Grayson for letting us be a part!
