Darrelle & Ben’s fairytale wedding at @castelldesantmarsal was simply stunning. Their love story was a joy to whiteness throughout the weekend under the Catalonian sun. A combination of scenic landscapes and Spanish architecture created an ideal setting for these two to tie the knot. Special mention to @justineclairewe for her meticulous planning and for bringing this incredible vision to life; our new friend @francogribodofotografia for his unique visions and photographic talent; and of course our beautiful couple @darrelletunstall & bstunstall for being so vibrant and fun. 🤍 One of our 2023 highlights was travelling to Barcelona for the wedding of Darrelle & Ben. Arriving a few days before the main event allowed me to gather a bank of miscellaneous footage from around the city, setting the scene for this beautiful love story to be retold. Meeting at a beach club in Bali nearly 10 years ago, it really was love at first sight for Ben. Persistence and a little Dutch courage worked in Ben’s favour; catching the eye of Darrelle to spark the start of something they would have never expected. Now here they stand, 10 years on, making promises to one another and visualising their lives when they’re old and grey. As Ben so eloquently said: When we’re old and grey, I’m certain we’ll say ‘Well we couldn’t have done that any better’. And when our grandkids ask us how we did it, I’ll explain that - You were the only one to get me, and I was the only one to figure you out. That I was that you could go to, and you were a face I couldn’t live without. Through a combination of music, visuals & ambient sounds my hope was to emphasise that feeling of time stoping still, while revisiting the journey they’d been on to get them to this point in their lives. From here I was able to transition smoothly in to the wild scenes that took place on the dance floor; from the roaming band of @nomadbandlondon to the tunes from @sweetdreams_productions
