From the Bride and Groom:
We met on Bumble (sort of as a joke, neither of us taking it very seriously)! We decided to meet for a drink on a rainy Tuesday night at the Half Pint by NYU, where Danielle was taking graduate classes. One drink led to two which led to probably 5, and Mark walked Danielle to her bus stop where he kissed her goodbye even though he denies it was him who made the first move (LOL). From that night on, the rest was history! We got to know each other by enjoying common interests and learning about each others' own interests- hockey games, concerts, hiking, and spending time with each others' families! In November 2019, Mark proposed at the top of Bear Mountain, one of our favorite places to escape to, after a hike that Danielle thought she planned! What makes our relationship unique- we truly bring out the best in each other and motivate each other to be the best versions of ourselves! Both working with individuals with disabilities, Danielle as a special education teacher and Mark as an employment coordinator for adults with disabilities, we both put our heart into everything we do, whether its work, supporting each other or being there for our family and friends. We are fortunate to be surrounded by such a big circle of people who we love, who love us right back! We love that our relationship feels "natural". We can be ourselves and feel comfortable making mistakes and learning together through life! We love experiencing life together from any type of sporting event, to summer country concerts, to traveling to new places, biking through the 5 boroughs or just hanging out in our apartment, and are both soooooo excited to celebrate our marriage surrounded by our favorite people!
