Wedding Date on Apr 29, 2017

From The Bride: Courtney and Brian met over three years ago online (the week of our wedding day). He swiped right, she swiped right, and the rest is history. Their first date was to a Houston Rockets playoff game - where the Rockets won! The running joke ever since has been that whenever they are together, they are the good luck charm for all Houston sports teams. With their love of sports, matching quirky personalities, friendship, and instant connection they immediately hit it off and haven't looked back since. Over Labor Day Weekend 2016 - Courtney and Brian went to Disneyland for the Half Marathon Weekend. On Friday of the trip, they went to Disney's California Adventure. With drawstring Mickey and Ariel bags en tow, Brian carried around the ring all day throughout the park in his bag... trying to find the right moment. After upside down roller coasters, dropping on the Tower of Terror, and miles of walking... Brian dropped down on one knee following the World of Color Show along the DCA Water Front. Through happy tears, Courtney asked "did you have this all day...but, we went upside down on the roller coaster!" Brian laughed and asked if she wanted to put the ring on...and, she said YES! Planning the wedding was truly a blend of everything Courtney and Brian love. They got married right down the street from where they had their first kiss and first apartment together - Hotel ZAZA, right on Hermann Park in Houston, TX. They integrated elements that define them as a couple: a charicature of themselves with their pets as their guest book, handmade elements done by Courtney's artsy side of herself, their love of college football (Gators and Cougars - cake topper and exit ribbon wands in college colors), love of Disney (instrumental Disney music for the ceremony, Mickey Mouse chocolate dipped rice krispie treats as favors, and Disney themed elements in the Photobooth), and love of music (hand-selected playlist with a wide variety of songs). Both, Courtney and Brian, were instrumental in planning the wedding together!
