Wedding Date on Jun 15, 2019

Collin & Carley met at their church’s youth camp on the last night when Carley was 14 and Collin was 17. They became friends and got to know each other over the next few months & really liked each other from the start...they obviously weren’t “dating” then, but they’ve been committed to each other since then! Carley's parents were super protective, so they didn’t even ride in a car together until YEARS after they started talking/hanging out. They would hang out in group settings at Carley's family's house. Although it wasn’t ideal back then, they both look back on those years with GREAT appreciation for that wisdom their parents had in protecting them so that they would have a healthy, Godly relationship. When it came time to propose, Collin told Carley he wanted to spend the day together. Collin brought her to their favorite breakfast spot that morning. They talked and ate a great meal and had a great time together. They spent the day just enjoying time with one other. He dropped her off at her house after and told Carley he was going to work for a little bit but would come back that evening to pick her up for a “surprise date” that night. She got ready and he came back to her house and drove her to Arrington Vineyards — she hadn’t ever been! He had picked up her favorite salad and set up a little picnic. After they ate, he pulled out a little love letter he wrote for Carley. He read it out loud and then he stood us up and gave her a hug. It was so so sweet. Then he got down on one knee and proposed!!!!! Sweetest moment. His brother got the best pictures of the proposal and she didn’t even see him! So special. Carley just graduated with a bachelor's degree in fashion design and offers services in personal styling, alterations, and custom designs. Collin has a business degree and works full time at a medical company. They love spending time together outdoors and traveling.
