Chris & Melanie met a little later in life... But when they did their connection was kinetic! Chris was Melanie's contractor, he did her home renovations. After a few times of talking, seeing each other in passing and bumping into each other as Chris worked he finally asked her out on a date on St. Patties Day. They hit it off over beers and the rest is history! He proposed on a carriage ride down town Chicago. Complete surprise, Melanie had no idea.
