Chris and Jordan met through mutual friends during their first week of college, but it took a LONG while for them to start actually dating. They knew that if they started something together that they would get married one day, and wanted to make sure they were in the right place to do that. In this industry, vendors talk a lot about discovering your ideal clients. Jordan and Chris are those clients for me. I had the pleasure of filming her sister’s wedding in 2018, so to be welcomed back so warmly and enthusiastically by her family meant the world to me as a vendor. I want to work with people who are as passionate about me and my work as I am about them and their story. I cried a lot editing this one because the emotions are so raw and real. Originally, Jordan had told me she didn't want their video to be cheesy, that she wanted it to be natural and fun like her and Chris, but it's impossible to ignore how deeply their families cared about this day. Between the adorable first looks, some of the most moving toasts I've ever heard, and the personal vows involving Kanye West (thank you to Jordan's brother), this wedding was one of my favorites to date. Sometimes weddings can be so rooted in tradition, that we find ourselves going through the motions and losing sight of what each piece really means. But on this day, everything had meaning. Every detail of this celebration came from pure love and care and joy.
