Wedding Date on Oct 21, 2017

Our story began at the best school in the world (it's a fact!), James Madison University, in August of 2008. Alli was a First Year Orientation Guide (FrOG) for an energetic group of freshmen from Eagle Hall. By some miracle, within this group was a handful of guys who loved Eagles football, Chris being one of them. Once orientation ended, Alli would visit the guys for Eagles games almost every Sunday for the next 3 years. They shared lots of laughs and spent Super Bowls together wearing our midnight green. It wasn't until after they both graduated from JMU that the friendship became more. They reconnected in the summer of 2012 and reunited at JMU's Homecoming that October. After years of dating Chris planned a trip down to JMU for their 3 year anniversary. He brought Alli over to the infamous JMU kissing rock, gave her a big hug, and got down one one knee. The best part of wedding planning was all of the love surrounding you at every event leading up to the big day. Our best advice to future brides and grooms is to go with your instincts and what feels important to you, and to stay in the moment and enjoy every second! ​
