Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center Wedding This fun-loving couple fell in love over saving lives as lifeguards in college, even though they admittedly grew up together in the same hometown. Sometimes it takes spending endless hours together to show you they’re your person! Jamison and Chase picked the Event Center of Agoura Hills for their wedding day which is a sprawling venue providing as much outdoor beauty as it does indoor splendor. The couple liked this location because it wasn’t “cookie-cutter” and allowed them to pick all the vendors they wanted to make their day special! They knew they wanted an outdoor wedding with LOTS of dancing. They even told their guests from the moment they got engaged that if they wanted to talk to them at the wedding “You better do it on the dance floor…because that’s where we’ll be!” Jamison looked stunning in her blush colored dress with its beaded top and flowing skirt but it wasn’t her first pick. When she tried on her original dress at the first fitting she knew right away that she wouldn’t be able to dance in it and seeing as that was top priority, she quickly scrambled to find something that allowed her to dance the night away on her big day! Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince and the same goes for wedding dresses! For her bridesmaids dresses she aimed to make each girl feel comfortable so she first let them pick out their favorites on “Show Me Your Mumu” and let the color story unfold from there. The girls all wound up gravitating towards sea glass shades which worked as a perfect contrast to her blush-colored dress so it all came together nicely! After the ceremony the couple kept true to their word and danced the night away with all their family and friends. Jamison says her father-daughter dance was definitely a highlight for her and they both agreed those special moments taking their couples pictures were among their favorite parts of the night. Sometimes even the most social couples need their private moments alone! When asked how she would describe her wedding Jamison simply said “It was fire.” We couldn’t agree more!
