Casey & Seth are both University of Pittsburgh undergrad alumni. Both now have successful and demanding careers in Pitt athletics.
Originally they planned a spring wedding to accomodate their busy schedules. But like many 2020 couples, they were forced to postpone their plans due to Coronavirus restrictions. They opted to still get married in a small, intimate, backyard affair on their original date, and bump their big celebration to July 31.
Unfortunately, restrictions still in place kept many of their original plans from coming to life. However, as two incredibly in love, resilient, optimistic people, they reveled in the opportunity to plan and execute not just one, but two!, wedding day celebrations.
As their big day approached and Seth went down memory lane, he discovered that five years prior to this second wedding date, on July 31, 2015, he had e-mailed Casey at work for the very first time - a Divine coincidence indeed that wasn't lost on either of them.
It wasn't until July of the next year that Seth got up the courage to ask Casey out for a date for brunch. And from their first date - they both knew they never wanted to be apart.
It was the greatest joy and privilege to spend the day with Casey and Seth and their closest friends and family. We were gifted the most glorious day to run around their beloved city celebrating their marriage. These two are a vivid reminder of what a wedding day is truly about. We are in such admiration of how they navigated the ambiguity and ever changing environment of getting married in 2020.
From their outrageously beautiful letters, to the walk down the aisle, to the romantic dinner party they threw for friends and family, and the most idyllic city golden hour - we assure you are in for a treat.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Graham - we couldn't be happier for you or more grateful to have shared in this piece of your incredible story.
