Hi! We're MeiLi (may-lee) and Stephen and we’re wedding filmmakers, storytellers, and partners in life and love. The first time we met, she was interviewing me for a short documentary she was putting together for school. We both knew that there was something special between us after the camera turned off and she kept asking questions - albeit much more personal ones!Our life together since that day has become our story. We’ve held on for dear life in the backseats of tuk-tuks careening through Calcutta’s obstacle-course alleys. We’ve climbed Fourteeners on our birthdays because cake tastes better at the top. We’ve driven 300 miles to watch our favorite band, Sylvan Esso, play a 40-minute set, even getting a shout-out from the stage after we bumped into them in the street, pre-show.Along the way, we’ve been each other’s de facto fan club president; I’ve watched awestruck as MeiLi debuted photo essays and a full-length documentary, and she’s whooped and hollered for me from the front row of pretty much every gig I’ve played since we met. But for all of the miles traveled, sights seen, and ticket stubs pocketed, there’s little in this wide world as sublime as cozying up on the couch together to binge-watch The Office with a bowlful of pizza rolls and Ijla, our 10-pound ball of canine sunshine, nestled between us.Every day is a new page we add to our story, and we want you to be a part of it. In our work, there’s no better feeling than having a true connection with a couple and capturing their love and the tender, fleeting moments of their intimate day to relive forever.
