I say it over and over again, but the places wedding videography has taken me truly is special. I feel so fortunate to have been able to film Brittany and Nick’s wedding. Brittany’s father has been a long time best friend of my Dad and family friend for over 40 years. When he reached out to hire me for the wedding film and get my family down to North Carolina for the wedding, it was an immediate yes. Having the opportunity to film family friends and go into the wedding day with so many personal connections added so much to the final film. I feel like knowing the backstory to Brittany and Nick’s relationship added an important element to the film’s story. The venue, The Barn at Blue Sky Ranch, was absolutely incredible! This was the first year the venue was in business and it was stunning. After chatting with the owner about how he, his 72 year old dad, and two brothers built the barn I was floored. The work they did was amazing and it looked even better with all the fall colors in the background. I’m incredibly grateful these two trusted me to capture their wedding day and for the chance to travel just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina for this wedding.
