One of the best parts about filming weddings is getting to tell your friends’ love story. Kyla and Trevor’s wedding brought my girlfriend and I back to our home state of Montana; she was one of Kyla’s bridesmaids, and I was lucky enough to be their wedding videographer. It was so much fun to see how much of Kyla and Trevor’s personalities went into their wedding day. From the decor, ceremony, and vows you could tell that this special day was purposefully designed for this couple. Kyla and Trevor’s love of sports was included in some really creative decorations like the baseball ring box which, like most of the decor, was built by Kyla’s Dad. They even leaned into the family rivalry between her family and the Chicago Cubs and his family and the St. Louis Cardinals. We got some amazing golden hour shots of these two wearing their teams’ jerseys over their wedding attire. As noted in the best man speech, Kyla and Trevor are both gifted athletes, which I can personally vouch for. Kyla and I were both athletes at the same university, and she killed it on the volleyball court! “They’re both gifted athletes who can compete with each other. Trev has finally found his perfect play date, his equal counterpart, and best friend,” Bridger Frandsen, Best Man All of this made the wedding a truly unique experience. Montana weddings hold a special place in my heart. Growing up surrounded by mountains is one of my fondest memories, and I’m thankful that wedding videography brings me back to my home state fairly often. Kyla and Trevor, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to play a small role in your beautiful wedding. I hope you and your families enjoy this film for years to come.
