Wedding Date on Jun 29, 2021

"Brandon and I both come from divorced families and is one of the reasons we are eloping and then having a big party after without all the formalities and stress from 4 different sides. We also love spending time just us and know eloping will feel so much more authentically BZ. Our families were definitely something that we bonded over from the start and what makes us so excited to start a family of our own with our shared values. We fell in love so fast and so effortlessly. Out first date was Wednesday February 13th he asked to hang out the next night, valentines, I said no but how about tomorrow night. Every Wednesday we say happy BZ day (so lame I know) It has been and is a great midweek mini pick me up and celebration of us. Our friends and coworkers will even say happy BZ day to us on Wednesday LOL! Our second date was Friday February 15th and that is when we both knew this was very very very different. He says thats when he knew I was it. I went home and told my friends if my life was a romcom that night would be the opening scene. We walked to whole foods got wine and groceries to cook together. We cooked, drank, got deep into convo and then made out like high schoolers all night with pulp fiction on in the background. Then music accidentally started blasting on his speakers and the two of us danced together for an hour standing on the coffee table, jumping on the couch and using our wine bottles as microphones. We still do this in our home and have even had the cops show up from a noise complaint from just us dancing and being BZ. We love to dance, be silly, take photos on our film camera and be us. We met in LA and 3 months later moved to Newport Beach together. We live 10 steps from the beach and are there 24/7. My Grammie who raised me and was my mother figure, my person, passed away 4 years ago and never got to meet Brandon. She was born on a leap year, Feb 29, and 29 has always been a special number to me. Brandon asks about Grammie all the time and plans a special dinner or day on the 29th of every month. July 29th was a Wednesday and that is when he proposed! On BZ day and Grammies special number! It was amazing! Brandon loves to tease, scare and surprise me. He has at least 50 videos of him coming home from work and scaring me with me screaming, jumping or dropping whatever is in my hands. He fake proposed a handful of times but all in our home. We go to the beach every night and he got down on one knee. I literally hit him and pull on his shirt and go you cant fake propose in public! I kept telling him to get up and how cold I was. I didn't know it was the real thing until he started crying and I saw our best friends on the lifeguard tower filming from afar. We loved and miss going to music shows together but luckily the dancing hasn't stopped. We love polo and pan to feel like we are on vacay in the Italian coast, old 50-60s love songs from same cooke to frank Sinatra, 70s funk and house music. We are in a constant state of awe of our life together and truly take in each moment. It truly is surreal and unexplainable. We are so grateful everyday."
