Behind the scenes of the Black & Gold Western Elegance Styled Shoot. This LBGT theme came after seeing the featured faux gold longhorn online. I had to have it! Nothing says more Texas than a longhorn. And nothing says more Houston than inclusivity. The black then came naturally... And my 95 year old rental photography studio space, Houston Warehouse Studios, was the perfect location. The first Houston wedding vendor I contacted was Hannah of Edges Wild Studio. She's an artist when it comes to all things growing from the ground. I mentioned our triangle from the studio and she created a floral panel to fill it. That became the backdrop for the ceremony set up accompanied with ground-based installation pieces and tumbleweeds. I also loved the other details she brought that were used on the hats, hair, and corsage. Unbridaled provided the Chosen by One Day dress. BP Artistry completed the look with waves and dark make up for one bride and a side fish braid and soft make up for the other. The reception set up had all the essential details for your inspiration and more. Oliver & Penelope Vintage provided all the rentals including the oil lamps which were the perfect touch. L'Atelier Du Brigadeiro had the cutest and most delicious sweets and the stunning cake by CBV Cake Design went perfect with the black + gold theme. The LED light was provided by LG Entertainment & Production. They also brought it all together with a fog effect machine! A perfect add on when wanting to have that "WOW" factor! I'm obsessed!! Many thanks too to my team, Claudia Diaz (#AmaByClaudia) and Brittney Feliciano (Photography Assistant). These girls always bring their best!! This styled shoot is featured on print on the Spring/Summer 2020 issue of Brides of Houston magazine! Be sure to check out their print issue!
