Wedding Date on Dec 14, 2019

The couple met in New York City where Beth also lived at the time. Beth went to meet a girlfriend for dinner and her friend was running late from work. Sitting at the bar of a nearby restaurant she texted her friend to see if they could postpone as it was very cold out and she was getting tired. Two gentleman walked in and she didn't recognize them from her neighborhood. She was texting on her phone but one of them, Dan her future husband, came up to her right and she glanced up and they made eye contact. He was in her neighborhood for a conference. Beth said "To this day we like to think of it as love at first sight as we both remember the eye contact we made." Beth and Dan ended up changing their original plans that evening and going to dinner together, and the rest is history.
