Antonia and Nevin have always been in each other's lives, even without knowing it! They lived near each other as children, they had mutual friends, and they even went to the same university. Antonia and Nevin met by chance. Antonia was in a play at Nevin’s friend's high school, and he saw her french accent and knew immediately that he wanted to meet her. Nevin introduced himself to Antonia after his friend was hesitant to do so. Antonia didn't pay much attention to Nevin the first time they met. Years later, she realized he was also attending the University of Toronto. Nevin introduced himself again to Antonia, hoping to get her to do a French accent. After that, they became inseparable best friends. It was only the next year that Antonia realized what he had always known. They were meant to be together. When Nevin proposed, he did it at their favorite place, a B&B in Wiarton. It has a beautiful cabin in a secluded forest under the stars.
