My husband and I met way back in high school. He said the very first time he ever saw me, he knew right then that he wanted to marry me. Fast forward to April 28, 2013 when he asked me to be his girlfriend on the beach in Longport, NJ. Three years later, on April 28, 2016, we were engaged on the Ocean City Beach in New Jersey. Wanting to keep the same date for each special event taking place in our lives, we planned to marry three years later on April 28, 2019. Our ceremony was at the most magical and fairy tale looking venue in Greenville, Delaware called the Greenville Country Club. Because it was late April, all the trees were lush with fresh green leaves and blossoms were everywhere. Flower petals began blowing off the trees and flowing in the wind. It was stunning. The theme I tried to portray in three words was garden, romantic, and antique- I think I did got just that, especially from the help of my vendors who created my vision in every different aspect! Details were the most important thing to me- being that I am already very detail oriented and think deeply into what I envision. I took a lot of time creating projects from scratch to get exactly what I was looking for and to know that I did it myself. To future brides & grooms- you will be nervous on your wedding day, but do not focus on making sure the day goes exactly as planned. I am a huge planner and pay a lot of attention to detail and even I decided to let everything go and just enjoy the day ahead of me. This made me love every second of it.
