Amy + Michael’s dating anniversary is actually NYE and they decided to keep the anniversary the same for their wedding, and I absolutely love that!
From co workers to best friends to parents to soon to be husband and wife, Amy + Michael have the sweetest love story. They met at Metro Diner, where they both worked at the time. As they worked together, they got to know eachtoher a little better. And then, one thing let to another and before they knew it, they were dating.
Since then, they have shared alot of great moments. From purchasing their first home together, to having their son, James. They are the kind of couple you look at and you just know they are meant to be together.
My favorite thing about Amy and Michael is how comfortable they are around each other. They don’t need much to be happy. They just need to be together. They value memories more than possessions.
Anyone else WAKE up at 4am on NYE? No? Just us?!it’s ok, because it was TOTALLY worth it! ✨ We woke up and drove to Amelia island to witness the sweetest couple make the biggest commitment in front of only their parents and 1 friend each. 😍 that’s right, their wedding only had 7 guests total (including their sweet 3 year old son). 💕 (and this was before COVID was even a thing!! They CHOSE to only have 7 guests)
Amy + Michael just wanted to have a day that was about them and their love for eachother. They had their intimate ceremony on the beach at Talbot Island. Amy’s favorite photos were all andids moments that became memories they’ll never forget. One of the photos is from their ceremony, its their 3 year old playing in the sand right beside them. To her THAT was their family. THAT was love. THAT was family.
When I look at these photos my heart just melts and I can feel the moment as if it were yesterday. Also you got our son sneaking his fingers in the cake while we weren’t looking and he still laughs about that.
After their beautiful and private ceremony, we all went to a local restaurant and had brunch. I dont think it gets better than that!!!
“I want to have memories of my son’s sticky fingers, my family all enjoying themselves and us just being us”
It was an absolute honor to capture your private and intimate wedding, Amy & Michael! Thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be a part of something so special!!
