Nick and Amber first met on one fall night back in 2008 while they were in high school. They attended different high school, but met through friends while hosting a campfire. Nick and Amber immediately hit it off and exchanged phone numbers. The two texted for months and became close friends. They spent the summer hanging out with one another but it quickly came to an end. The school year started up again and Nick asked Amber to his homecoming dance. At that dance, Nick officially asked Amber to be his girlfriend. The couple spent high school and college together. Nick asked Amber to marry him in 2018. They bought a house together and adopted their dog named Teddy.
