In 2017, Shakari and Gabriel met at in Oklahoma at a church they would volunteer at. During that time when Gabriel thought he wouldn't think about settling down and getting married until his 30's. Their wedding day was filled with so much happiness. They finally got to celebrate their wedding in Chicago after overcoming all obstacles that were thrown at them.
