Wedding Date on Sep 29, 2017

From Alyssa, the bride: We first met in college, at Grand Valley State University sophomore year (Phil will say freshmen year) but I know it wasn't until sophomore year of college! We then lived next to each other in the off campus apartments junior year of college. The proposal was PERFECT. I had no idea it was coming and was taken by total surprise. He planned the most romantic and perfect proposal. He proposed at Blue Water Grille, one of the restaurants in Grand Rapids we had first been on a date to, and he proposed in a private, secluded spot overlooking the lake. He had the manager video the proposal and it was perfect. He then surprised me with a beautiful suite at the Amway Hotel, and then had all of our college/highschool friends/family surprise us at the bar. The rest of the weekend was followed by doing our favorite things in our favorite city (Grand Rapids), tubing, hanging with friends, going boating, going to the beach, going to our favorite restaurants/bars. It was absolutely perfect!!!
