This film deserves its own soundtrack.
Allison and Tae brought the HEAT to this wedding with impeccable style and swagger. The vintage car, the Nikes, the outfit changes and smolders.
This is a hype film because there are definitely some bops. But there is heart and soul and depth to this couple that just unravels you.
You get hyped because you find yourself rooting for them.
Rooting for Tae cranking out push-ups during the Paebaek (Korean Tea Ceremony.)
Rooting for Allison’s jaw-dropping style through her IMMACULATE outfit changes--did you see those gloves?
Rooting through the tears during the most heartfelt vows, as Tae vowed through the scary times that “I’ll be by your side and on your side through it all.” And Allison bringing it home that she'll just want to do it all over again.
There's also more story beneath this beautiful wedding glacier. The day before their wedding, Andy (lead cinematographer and founder of Slye Films) lost his dad after a sudden illness landed him in the hospital for nearly two weeks. Jamie (Andy's wife, manager of the biz and lead editor) worked behind the scenes with the planner and vendor team to try to find someone to film the wedding so she could be with family but still edit.
Luckily, Taylor and Lindsey from Elliott Film Co stepped up in a major way and captured this gorgeous footage. They bent over backwards because their empathetic and kind hearts knew the profound pain of losing a parent. We felt the Indy wedding community wrap their arms around us that weekend, and that will forever be a part of this glorious wedding. We are so grateful.
