From The Bride: After moving to Chicago from Michigan, Mike met Allie on his first day in the city- at work! Working in market research at the time, Allie was tasked with training the company’s newest employees. Realizing how much they had in common, their friendship was instant. A few months had past before their first date. Shortly thereafter, their first pet, first apartment, second pet and four years later, Mike popped the question. The moment was private and romantic: Allie came home after work one day to find the apartment adorned with red roses and tea light candles, Mike on one knee. The engagement lasted two years before the couple finally tied the knot at Madonna della Strada-Loyola University Chicago, Allie’s alma mater. The guests were then shuttled to Navy Pier and boarded The Elite Yacht for the intimate reception on Lake Michigan. From the engagement announcement short, to the wedding highlight reel, to the fabulous film created of our special day- choosing to have a videographer was one of the best decisions made throughout the process. The memories these films provide are priceless and we are forever grateful for them. This Charming Heart will always have a special place in our family’s history.
