How we Met:Spencer met Alex through a friend from study abroad that was visiting him senior year in college. Spencer’s friend knew Alex from home and suggested that they meet up with her. Spencer immediately saw something special in Alex and a few weeks later decided to ask her to his upcoming fraternity formal without really knowing her. She said yes to going to his formal and they have been together ever since. The Proposal:Spencer told Alex they would be participating in a cocktail making class for their sixth anniversary together. That was a ploy to get Alex to meet Spencer at Suite 1001 a speakeasy omakase sushi bar in Nomad which Spencer had rented and decorated for the proposal. He printed almost 200 pictures and decorated the entire terrace of the restaurant. He got down on one knee and Alex gave him an enthusiastic and teary-eyed yes. They partied with all their family and friends later that night.
